My teenage and formative years fell in the 1990's and New Jack Swing was a big part of that. MTV Jams, Video Soul and pretty much every song on the radio had the characteristics of New Jack Swing which Wikipedia defines as the "rhythms, samples and production techniques of hip-hop and dance-pop with the urban contemporary sound of R&B." I made the mix one single MP3 so the full breadth of the genre can be enjoyed...and I hope you do just that.

You hooked me with the haircut. Now I GOTTA try it out.
