Sounds Vintage 2

Bob Smith

The theme is all about the lyrics. This one has more of a laid back late 60s to late 70s vibe, equal parts rock, baroque folk, and psychedelic blues with a few other styles thrown in to spice things up. Let's face it, these would get pretty boring if they all sounded the same. I'll apologize in advance if two or three of these tracks aren't as intensely vintage-oriented as the rest - when balancing two themes like this a little compromise is necessary.

For a moment I thought this was a sequel to another mix from 2009! It's not but it's a great concept.

Wait, it IS a sequel to that mix. CRAZY AWESOME

I still listen to your first version frequently. Seriously, often. Really looking forward to this!

The first of several sequels, I think.

The original wasn't mine, that was Jamie Holland's. It's linked on the download page, though, for those that missed it. I simply became addicted to it (and the Saturday Morning Mix and a handful of others from '09 with vintage tracks) and decided to go hunting. This is some of what I found.

I had no idea there was a whole Reddit subforum dedicated to this idea.

It's a fairly quiet place, but oh, the content. :)

For non-redditors, just append a .rss to the URL to get a feed, like so.
